WOW! WEEK #2 DOWN!!! As we move forward
with tackling this years challenge…. “RECYLCLE RUSH” we have made great
process. But we have a lot to do….
Please find below an information update:
ROBOT PROGRESS
We have built our test chassis and are very satisfied!! The new CUSTOM chassis design is able to hover in all directions while traversing the step obstacle. We test drove the chassis this past Sunday, and are moving forward with that concept. For the past week we have been testing various ideas and prototypes for a lifting mechanism and are close to a final approach. The goal this weekend will be to fabricate our lifting “ladder” and have it tested by the end of the weekend.

As we stated already, parents and families are
always invited to attend our work sessions. We are always looking for
help…parents please feel free to attend and help out with building, food,
safety, and anything else. Saturdays are good day for parent help.
